North Cornwall is a fantastic area to visit and one of the gems, apart from Bude itself of course, is Padstow.

Following on from the report about the river flowing through the park we recently had a visit from the team monitoring the health of the river.

Running through the campsite, and onwards through Bude to the sea, is the photogenic River Strat.

Now the visitors have gone, and autumn has arrived the park is changing, and we are seeing the delightful autumn colours.

We are blessed with a glorious selection of beaches in Bude and last weekend we took the opportunity to explore Widemouth which is just south of the main town.
