Lodge · Sleeps 12
Mordros is Cornish for the sound of the sea, and it is the biggest stay we have — a multi-family lodge built for the get-togethers that do not fit anywhere else. It sleeps up to twelve, so two or three generations can be under one roof without being on top of each other.
There is a large kitchen with room to cook for the whole group, a hot tub of its own outside, and bedrooms that pair a double bed with a set of bunks, so the children can share and the adults still get their own space. Everything is self-contained: your own shower and toilet, your own kitchen, your own door.
It is the obvious choice for a special occasion: grandparents, parents and the children all under one roof, with the valley to roam and Bude and the coast a couple of miles away.
Where it sits: A long, single-storey lodge on its own gravel drive, with parking right outside the door and the rest of the valley a short walk away.

The story of Mordros
Mordros is Cornish for the sound of the sea — a fitting name for the valley’s biggest gathering place, a couple of miles inland from the coast at Bude.
Read our storyUp to twelve. It’s our largest stay, laid out for multi-generation families and big get-togethers, and it has its own hot tub.
Absolutely. Plenty of groups take Mordros plus a lodge or two. Send us a message and we’ll help line up the dates.
Yes. The hot tub belongs to Mordros and is for your group only — you’re not sharing it with anyone.
Completely. The kitchen, shower and toilet are all inside and private to the lodge, so there’s no walking across the park in a dressing gown.
Yes — dogs are welcome in Mordros, as they are in every stay here. Keep them on a lead no longer than 2 metres, exercise them in the area provided and don’t leave them unattended in the lodge. We can’t accept Rottweilers, Dobermans, Bull Mastiffs, Pit Bull Terriers or crosses of those breeds.
Arrive any time from 3pm, and we ask you to be away by 10am on the morning you leave.
