About Bencoolen
Bencoolen sits in the most secluded area of the valley, among the trees, with a hot tub on the deck.
It sleeps up to four and is a proper couples-or-small-family lodge: get in the tub under the trees and forget what day it is.
Like the other lodges it’s fully self-catering, with a lounge, a dining room and a full kitchen, and the dog is welcome, as they are in every stay here. Ask us for the exact bed layout when you book.
Where it sits: In the most secluded area of the valley, beside Heath, with trees around the deck and the hot tub.

Good to know before you book
- Bencoolen is in a secluded area of the valley with three other lodges. Heath is right beside it and offers much the same, but like Bencoolen it isn’t a specified accessible unit — tell us what you need and we’ll talk it through before you book.
- Arrive from 3pm and leave by 10am.
- The hot tub is yours alone — it isn’t shared with any other stay.
- Dogs stay on a lead no longer than 2 metres, are exercised in the area provided, and are never left unattended. As a family park we can’t accept Rottweilers, Dobermans, Bull Mastiffs, Pit Bull Terriers or crosses of those breeds.
- The lodge is non-smoking.
- Entry to the park is through an ANPR number-plate barrier, and CCTV covers the park around the clock for everyone’s security. There’s no security guard on site, but we walk round the park ourselves.
- We don’t list a from-price for the lodges because rates move with the dates; the booking page shows live availability and the price for your nights.
Bencoolen: questions & answers
Bencoolen is tucked into one of the quietest corners of the valley, so the view from the deck and the hot tub is of the trees around it rather than a long view down the valley. It’s one of the most secluded spots on the park.
Yes. There’s a full kitchen, a lounge and a separate dining room, plus your own bathroom and shower, so you’re entirely self-contained.
It is — the tub sits on Bencoolen’s own deck and is for your party only.
Yes, dogs are welcome in every stay here, Bencoolen included. Keep them on a lead no longer than 2 metres, exercise them in the area provided, and don’t leave them on their own in the lodge. We can’t accept Rottweilers, Dobermans, Bull Mastiffs, Pit Bull Terriers or crosses of those breeds.
Lodges are ready from 3pm on the day you arrive, and we ask you to be away by 10am on the day you leave.
Up to four. If you need more room, Helyk sleeps up to six and Mordros takes up to twelve.
