A quick guide to how the park is laid out — the camping field on the valley floor, the bell tents on the hillside, and the lodges across the river.

An illustrated guide to the valley

This is the park's own illustrated map, grouped the same way the grounds actually are — the camping field on the valley floor, the bell tents on the hillside, and the lodges across the river. Tap or click any named stay to open its page. The list below the map says the same thing in words.

Illustrated map of Willow Valley Holiday ParkThe park's own illustrated site map. The upper hillside bell tents sit at the top, reached by a steep path. Below them are the lower hillside bell tents and, across the river, the lodges. The valley floor holds the camping field and glamping, with the facilities block, dog wash and the River Strat. The entrance, with its ANPR barrier, is at the bottom right. Upper hillside

The three highest tents, reached by a steep path from the main track — the longest views on the park. Each deck has a gas cooker of its own, and the shower block and communal cook deck are in the glamping car park, under five minutes away.

Lower hillside

Hartland and Kernow, raised above the valley floor without the climb. There is no cooking inside the tents, but the two share a gas point sited directly opposite their decks, and the cook deck at the facilities is a short walk down.

The lodges

Five wooden lodges across the river, each with its own private hot tub and its own parking alongside.

Valley floor — glamping

The valley floor, close to the river and a level walk from the facilities.

Camping field

Level ground on the valley floor, closest to the facilities. Twenty-one grass and hardstanding pitches spread across Lower Willow and Middle Willow, with the River Strat running between them.

Around the park

  • Entrance — an ANPR barrier and CCTV; no security guard on site, but we walk round the park ourselves.
  • Facilities block — showers and toilets, open 24 hours, with baby changing in both the male and female toilets.
  • Dog wash, for muddy paws off the coast path.
  • Cook deck for glampers, in the camping field.
  • The River Strat, running down the floor of the valley.

A note on this map. It's illustrated rather than surveyed, so treat it as a guide to where things are rather than an exact scale drawing.
