In 2024 the valley changed hands, and we took it on: Becky and John. A short note on the year that followed, and what we’re here to do.

In 2024 the valley changed hands, and we took it on: Becky and John. You’ll most likely meet Becky in reception and John somewhere out on the park, usually on the back of his trusty mower.

It’s been quite a year. Between the changeovers and the maintenance that first autumn, we somehow found time to get married too — so it’s Mr and Mrs Gough now. The park barely noticed; the kettle was back on by the afternoon.

We came here for the same reasons you visit: eleven sheltered acres, a stream running through the middle, and a genuinely unusual collection of places to stay. Our job is to look after it, and to make it a little better each season — without changing what makes it Willow Valley.
