Affordable glamping! 5 m bell tent equipped with matting, double bed, all bedding, two single camp beds when booked, bedside tables, rugs, cushions, fairy lights and bunting plus outdoor seating area. Beautiful views across the valley. Wake up to birdsong every morning but with all the comforts of your own bedroom at home!
Bell tent guests have a dedicated parking area and use of a kitchen deck with gas burners, freezer, wash up area and undercover dining area.
Please note that toilet and shower facilities are shared with the main campsite and are a short walk from the bell tents. We cannot guarantee that you will be allocated to a specific bell tent, although we will do our best to do so when one is requested. Barbeques can be used in the bell tent area and a simple tea tray is provided with a cool box and ice packs.
Sea Campion, St Enodoc and St Petroc
Three bell tents located on the higher bell tent area. You are 157 metres from the main shower and toilet blocks, although there is a small overnight toilet much nearer. There is a slight, short incline to reach the tents but the view and privacy makes it worthwhile. The decks are a minimum of 7 m² and outside seating, lighting and a chiminea or fire pit are provided for use during your stay.
Hartland and Kernow
Two bell tents located on the lower bell tent area. You are 150 metres from the main shower and toilet blocks, although there is a small overnight toilet much nearer. There is a very short incline to reach the tent. The tents have a lovely view over the valley, campsite and neighbouring fields where you may get a glimpse of foxes or even deer. The decks are 8.5 m² and outside seating, lighting and a chiminea or fire pit are provided for use during your stay.
Fistral and Polzeath
Two tents located on the main campsite which are much more accessible and nearer to the showers, toilet blocks and wash up area. The tents have a lovely view up the valley. The decks are 8.5 m² and outside seating, lighting and a chiminea or fire pit are provided for use during your stay.
Tamar
Tamar is sited on a large deck with Helyk Lodge behind you and a view out over the campsite. Tamar is the bell tent nearest to the facilities. Outside seating, lighting and a chiminea or fire pit are provided for use during your stay.
All bedding and towels are provided. Check-in is available from 1600 hours on the day of arrival. Check-out is by 1000 hours on the day of departure.
